The 320th meeting of the CA Toastmasters Club Lahore was held with energy, engagement, and enthusiasm on the theme “Resilience with Pride.”
This hybrid session drew an impressive audience and featured six compelling prepared speeches—one of the highest in recent times.
According to a press release, the meeting opened with TM Khalil Ahmad Hashmi calling the session to order and setting the tone with his trademark composure. President TM Adnan Hameed welcomed attendees warmly, while DTM Ghulam Abbas, serving as the Toastmaster of the Evening, orchestrated the event flawlessly despite his demanding schedule.
Among the highlights of the evening:
TM Usama Khalid won Best Prepared Speaker for his insightful and humorous delivery.
Guest participant Muhammad Idrees Khattak impressed the audience during the Table Topics session and clinched the Best Table Topic Speaker award.
The Table Topics session, led by TM Mudassar Ashfaq, was interactive and lively, allowing both guests and members to shine.
Special mention goes to TM Khalil Ahmad Hashmi, whose dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts were instrumental in ensuring a lineup of six quality speeches—a feat achieved after a long time.
TM Asim Muhammad, serving as Grammarian, added great value by maintaining the educational spirit and keeping guests engaged throughout the evening.
The meeting also had the honor of hosting TM Adeel Mirza, President of ICAP Toastmasters Club Islamabad, whose presence added value and inspiration to the session.
The event concluded with the awards ceremony and closing remarks by TM Adnan Hameed, wrapping up a truly memorable evening that embodied the Toastmasters core values of Integrity, Respect, Service, and Excellence.
