Be it 50 varieties of grapes experimentally cultivated in Pakistan’s Potowar region or taste bud tingling mangoes,  the exhibition arranged in the  historic city of Lahore is reflective of  agricultural prowess of Punjab province.

Agricultural technologies including the ethylene chamber for ripening of mangoes is also a centre of attraction for the visitors.

“ We have secured almost fifty varieties of grapes for otherwise barren lands of the potowar region. We have been successful in adapting the varieties in Pakistani environment,” says Dr. Muhammad Tariq, Director Barani Agriculture Research Institute (BARI), Chakwal.
