Pakistan’s leading novelist Bushra Rehman passes away

Former parliamentarian, columnist and novelist Bushra Rehman has passed away in Pakistan’s eastern city of Lahore.
According to media reports, the novelist was suffering from COVID-19.
She was laid to rest at Garden Town graveyard on Monday afternoon.

Born on August 29, 1944, Bushra Rehman served as member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2013.
Bushra Rehman , a versatile genius ,was a writer by profession and recipient of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz for her achievements in Urdu literature field. Her prominent novels include:- Lagan, Bahisht, Khubsurat, Sharmeely and Tere Sung Dar Ki Talaash Thi.
