Pakistan’s World Cup winning captain, Imran Khan will not be attending the series between Pakistan and ICC World XI, marking the return of international cricket to the country.
According to media reports, Khan will not be attending the ceremony as he left for UK on Sunday for a five day visit.
Earlier, it was reported that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) invited Imran Khan and 17 other Test cricketers to watch match between Pakistan and World XI.
Meanwhile, Javed Minadad has declined the PCB invitation. As per reports, Miandad decision came after he informed that he was not well and will not be able to attend the series.
Sarfraz Ahmed led Pakistan will take on du Plessis World XI tonight at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
