Internet services that remained virtually suspended across Pakistan for about 24 hours, have been restored , announced country’s major telecom player, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on Sunday.

Internet subscribers faced severe difficulties after the 13,000km-long IMV cable, extending from India till France, was affected by a technical fault in Red Sea near Saudi port city of Jeddah on Saturday.
