Five Pakistan nationals stranded in India due to the coronavirus pandemic have returned home through Wagha border crossing.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on Sunday, the citizens went to India for medical reasons and were stranded in New Delhi due to coronavirus-related restrictions.

On March 20, another four stranded Pakistan nationals were repatriated via Wagha border.
“Pakistan High Commission remained in close contact with the Indian side as well as the relevant authorities in Islamabad to firm up expeditious and safe return of these Pakistanis,” according to the statement.
In close coordination with both sides, the mission is making all-out efforts for early return of the remaining Pakistan nationals stranded in India, it concluded.
