Department store Debenhams has announced on social media that it will be closing its doors in Pakistan after nine years.
Debenhams is located in Dolmen Mall Clifton, in port city of Karachi and was opened in 2012. The store will close permanently on September 5.
The Debenhams brand has shut down its stores across the globe as it announced in December that it would be closing the business.
The brand will continue to be available online on the Boohoo website. It was bought by the fashion retailer for £55 million in January.
It is unclear why the shop in Karachi remained open for so long when the final Debenhams outlets in the UK closed in May, according to media reports.
