CPEC: China-Pakistan bus service from November 3

A private transport company will be launching China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) bus service on Saturday, November 03, plying between Pakistan’s eastern city of Lahore and Western China’s Kashghar city.

This is the second bus service going to run between Pakistan and the neighbouring country after the Dosti Bus Service between India and Pakistan.

“This Pakistan-China bus service will foster the good ties between China and Pakistan”, said the CEO of the company, Muhammad Anwar.

The bus route will engage people into astonishing and eye-catching views of Northern areas of Pakistan on the journey.

The 30-hour road trip will cost Rs 13,000 for one-way and Rs 23,000 for return ticket.

People have already started to book their seats for this exciting journey.

As per schedule issued by authorized operator, the bus service will run four days a week from Lahore to Tashkurgan on following days:

The departure from Lahore would be on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday while departure from Tashkurgan would be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The passengers can book their seats either from Lahore or Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

“It offers premium and luxurious buses, comfortable journey, better en-route services that include breakfast, lunch, dinner refreshment beverages, tea, and snacks, while fast Wi-Fi service would also provided throughout the journey,” Muhammad Anwar said.
